yellow book

omg.
i just read this book.
and i think tintin will LOVE this book to pieces.
u know why?
it's soO yellow!
yellow yellow yellow!
actually only a few pages la..
but still yellow enough for tintin..
haha..

it's actually a very normal book.
abt this very nice woman, a bit too nice woman starting to become wicked.
not wicked literally, erm, bitchy i would say.
this is due to a bitchy collegue stealing her proposal.
so this nice girl stole her identity as revenge.
besides this, she broke #01 rule of her therapy group, which is not to have any social relations with ppl in her grp.
this handsome guy in her therapy grp became her boyfriend.
the yellow part is abt a very detailed version of how they made love.
2 detailed versions actually. lols.

yups, tintin will love it. thello too..haha

omg, the book corrupted me.

today and tests

well, it's a boring day for me today..

early morning 7am, my dear old mum woke me up to go the temple.
met my relatives there and had a chat with my cousin.
he's the same age as us.
we talked abt some naughty things he did..
hahaha..
those that he didnt let his parents know..
and we both agreed that one of our cousins( one yr older) is quite shuai..haha.

went home and do MATH.
cjc paper.
omg, think my brain has gone all rusty..
i can't do those bloody questions la!
and it's just cjc.
wat happens when i start doing RJC paper?
i think i will faint of low-self esteem...lols.
i did till i got a headache.

and i'm down with flu!

ZzZ Physically Tired!!

ZzZzZ....

Currently, i m kinda in a half dead state now cuz nv slpt at all during e training camp ytd...

Hmmm.. Shall tok abt my training camp...

It was indeed super tried la but it was overall a fun camp...
CUZ for e very first time e gals team hv 100% attendence!!!
We felt more bonded together after e camp....

After e 3 super long lectures, i hv to drag my feet to training while e rest of e clsmates went to celelabrate tat ''regular'' basketballer's bday...
So our intensive training ended at ard 7 plus to 8..We went to kovan to had our dinner cuz NO catering of food at all...After tat we hv to chiong back to watch tat basketball video until 11... Tru out e night we were telling ghost stories and i think one of them is e most freaking one i eva heard....

All of us hv to wake up at 530 to wash up & get ready for morning run...
I was excused cuz of my knee and so i made breakfast lo...Very hiong sia.. they r running outside sch.. (which i guess got abt 7km in total.. cuz they go all e way till expressway...)
After tat we hv got a psycologist to gave us a talk & taught us a lot of impt things tat we may cope in competitons as well as in life...Nothing is impossible as long as u r willing to do ur best... I really learned alot tru out tat session...

After that we headed straight to MI & hv a friendly match wif them..This is considered our very 1st friendly match..(* soon will bcum jia chang bian fan)
Okay, Overall it is really a very very close fight... Everyone gets to play & we all makes mistakes on court...I wasted quite a few chances of our possession due to my fears abt my knee....(*cuz hvn really recovered den will definitely hv restrictions on court.. now like a bit loose again..Can someone help me to tighten it?! lol)
Haiz.. as for e guys team, they dun seems to b united enuf.. They lack of communication on court & so their result were.....

Feeling very sleepy alrdy.. thou it's still very early but i turning in le... CUZ working tml..Argh!!!

clearing doubts

heyhey felfel,
nonono..
dun get the wrong idea.
i dun think band people say singing is easy.

first of all, i was from choir, remember?
i know singing requires many things, singing in different languages, pitching, etc
singing is definitely NOT easy.
for example, my singing techniques, tone, pitching now was a far cry from the days when i was still in choir..
singing was a part of me.
now, i admit, my breathing, pitching had sadly deterioated( pls correct me, i dunno the spelling)

secondly, many band people becomes shy when it comes to singing..
they can blast the instruments like nobody's business
but whenever we were asked to sing out the rhythm, many refused to open their mouths..
when they finally do, the whole band sounds like a bee buzzing..
most band people are certainly not singing type..
when they say singing is easy, most of the time they mean it jokingly..
of cos, they will say, 'singing is so easy.'
but deep down, they do know that singing involves many techniques too..

different ccas train on different things..
a joke to reduce the tension: a bunch of band ppl( including yours truly, moi) were sitting next to this grp of NCC ppl. NCC ppl were training..push-ups as usual..
they had to count everytime they did the push-ups..
and the commando ordered them to recount everytime it gets messy
so my band mates shouted at them(friends friends with commando mah)
' NCC shld join band for 3 mths to learn counting!'
however, during drills, they can laugh at us le..
cos our drills are lousy compared to them..

yup, different ccas train on different things.
basketball peeps have to shoot many many shots.
dance peeps have to dance gracefully..
band peeps have to create beautiful music..
uniform groups peeps have to learn survival skills
CCC peeps must be passionate abt the community...
ETC ETC ETC ETC!

tml may have more things to complain abt my cca?
haha..
but tml the pieces of band fest will be given out..
hopefully it will motivate me?

whooa. everyone having bad cca sessions? haha.

gawwsh. today's practice is even more HORRENDOUS. and that is just an understatement of the year.

we did splits, crunches, weird abs training (because i dunno what it's called). and that's just a TINY part to kill us. PLUS we aren't allowed to wear our socks. which means. PAIN TO OUR POOR SOLES.

please lor ah gui. you think it's NOTHING? ok. i know you all also have it very bad. but try doing what we're doing. we can always exchange ccas. don't think dance is EASY can. bball people.

come to think of it. whatever cca i join, people ALWAYS think it's easy. like poooey.

for choir, those BAND PEOPLE said "what's so difficult about singing? it's SOOOO easy!" and the 100+++ choristers were like. "what the?!" we so didn't say playing of the instruments were easy. even though it's WEIRD why some people keep playing out of tune. so please. singing is easy? try singing using your DIAPHRAGM, accurate pitching, with no breathing in many places where you're not supposed to, have the right feeling, sing the songs with different languages, no airy sound in most songs. and that's just a few to start off with.

i've never said anything was easy. to me, there's a talent in everyone to do something which many others are not able to do so. bball people think that our body aches is nothing? we didn't train as much as you all did? do it and you'll see.

do the guys need to do 80 pushups immediately followed by the lifting of EVERY SINGLE GIRLS no matter the weight in three different positions? do the girls need to do 80 crunches IMMEDIATELY followed by 200 times when you have to stay frozen and your hands move up and down in the crunch position? and what about forcing you to split and your elbows have to support your whole weight for more than 30 seconds each time?

no. we didn't laugh when bball people have to run that far during training. or have to be in gym. or even being in the scorching sun. and when they were complaining about doing all these.

and we didn't say it's worse than anyone else's training. we saw rugby girls training even under the rain. and we were blessed to be indoors.

haha. wenzi. how come sr band never does sight reading then now you all have to do sight reading?

love will be a tragedy if you let it. that's what I said.

yeah. it's horrendously long. i can imagine. the longest dance practice was from 11 to around 5 only. although choir can be longer than that when we were having performances or competitions.

oh oh. and i wanna say. EVERYONE DON'T BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY MY NEW INSTRUCTOR IS OLDER THAN US BY 8/9 YEARS OLD! sigh* but anyways. i was right. x)) he's born in 1980.

complaints abt cca

since guigui and felfel are complaining abt their ccas, i shall do so too..
we are changing instructors!
and they are only INTERVIEWING the instructors on the 24th or 25th this mth..
meanwhile, we are doing sight-reading and yesterday was 'seventh night of july'..
ok fine, we sound pathetically horrible..
my sight-reading sucks like hell...
especially when i had a year of break from sight-reading..
becos SR band never does sight-reading..
and i think i have a problem with rhythm..

and so, i have to bear with act chim ppl explaining music terms to me..
and i dun understand them..
yes i know ur sight-reading is near perfect, but rmb u have years of experience with music?

can u at least explain the music notes to us properly?

4 hrs of band.
yes, it may seem little compared to fel's dance and gui's basketball
and alot less than my sec sch days practices( 8 am to 530 pm on a saturday, can u imagine? )
i kind of lost interest after the third hour..
i lost it to a cheese pancake, hahaha..
3 times a week of band practices..
i will enjoy it a lot more if not for the fading interest in band..
it's sad, and i think it's very much becos of my sec 4 days..

we had a new instructor then, the band was in a mess..
he had to return to basics..
which can bore u to tears..
no more interesting pieces for fun and practicing on sight-reading like the previous instructor...
and band starts to get boring..
luckily, that time, i had my group of juniors to gossip with every practice..
so much that the instructor nearly chase us out of the room..hahaha..

so it all boils down to PASSION..
with passion, guigui can tolerate with her crazy basketball trainings...
with passion, felfel can bear with her sores all over...

as for me? i really dunno..

for something on a lighter note, i went shopping with my mummy today!
bought a pink scoop-neck top, erm with some polka dots, hahaha
a pair of white shoes!
but they gave me blisters after walking in them for the whole of my shopping trip..
so painful! the price of vanity!
according to my mum, new shoes are always like this..hahaha..
but i still cant find a black skirt i wanted...haha..

bz day!

Since felfel has blogged on her tough training during dance, i shall blogged abt mine!!

Early in e morning, i went to acc my dad to see doc all e way till training time... (*dun noe y my family like got lots of prob ah)

To try to slack a bit during training, i went to e sinsei to get my knee bandage again...(* IT"s so damn itchy la..) I wanted to skip training one lo, cuz i still limping away ma... But bo bian hv to hand in e consent for for bb camp which my parents dun really allow me to go...

Haiz... Guess wat?! I tot i could juz slack tru out la... but in e end i still hv to do my shots & some of e drills...NOW can say my knees abit pain ah.. LOL...
Luckily my bandage can get me to skip e mental strength training which i think got abt 5km in total... haha...Can die man...( * haiz.. dun noe whether it can recover by fri.. dun feel like slacking tru out e camp also..)

FelFel, get use to it like me.. haha... muscle aches is nth...My teammate told me tat e dance ppl train until very hiong say wat whole body aching & things like tat... den we were like laughing la tat can it b worst de us?!? LOLX...

I hate FRI LA!!! I dun WANNA bring all e camps stuffs to lessons la.... STUPID camp!! Y muz start at 330pm???? Den sat 8pm den end.. like wat la... all my sat progs r dwn to drain alrdy....ARGH!!!Somemore mon still got dragon boating... Woah.. My schedule r like booked all e way till mid dec la....

ARGH!!! HOW M I GOIN TO STUDY?!?!?!SOMEONE PLS SPARE ME TIME!!!!

and he's the type of errr. chinese dance/ballet/contemporary dance instructor. quite the opposite of my previous instructor.

and he really had a SUPERBLY TOUGH training with us. and he told us this yesterday, "for at least one day, for most probably THREE days, we'll feel sore. and maybe tomorrow you'll not even be able to WALK."

well. he was quite right. from my arm, to my BACK, to my NECK, to my legs, even to my feet i was feeling sore. and he took out his poking/smacking/whatever stick ON THE FIRST DAY OF LESSON.

but. i felt more happy with him after he asked this question, "who're from xinmin secondary?"

haha. seems that he's my senior. four years my senior. which means my first year was his last year.

hmmm. but NEVERTHELESS. I'M STILL FEELING SORE FROM THE TRAINING YESTERDAY. it's really hard to even WALK after the training.

Worked a half day and after which heeding everybody advices to stay at home & rot...

Can pon training tml nan de got excuses to last me for quite some time... (* but i m a regular bballer ah, too long nv touch e ball will die) haha...but still i m goin out tml... (*rotting is a torture man!)

Hv a bad day..

Today is kinda a bad bad day for me..

As my story goes.....

IT was raining heavily in e afternoon...I was rushing home to change cuz i got to go work at 4...Okay.. i gonna go to my main pt...

I was wearing a frictionless slipper and was sliding my way back...

GUESS WAT?!!

I had a fall again!!! SONG BO!!!

I was like wth!! MY butt was kinda wet due to e fall thou...(* BUT my main concern was my broken leg)

I think e 2 visits to e sinsei had gone dwn to e drain again!!!!
SO BACK TO SQUARE ONE!! haha...

After tat i still can limp my way to work....
Bo bian... Dun wan to fall again and i m kinda late alrdy.. So i took a cab to work... (* 1.1/2 hr of work gone dwn to drain)

Super bz at work can?! my leg hv no time to take a break..haha..

Okay la... Got one gan dong thing la...

Couple nxt door came dwn all e way to fetch me home lo...
They were like waiting from 9 till abt 1040 lo... I abit shy la, dun say dun hv la, so gave them ice cream to eat lo..

I think on e way home e journey is quite dark la, so nid 'lightbulb' to brighten up the route la.. haha...

SO i think tat's all for the day ba...(*sry to make the guy miss the last bus, bo bian guy muz fetch e gal home ma.. so hopefully u can take e cab without midnight charge.. haha..)

it's a band festival concert..
nearly all jc bands are also performing..

which means i'll be rehearsing WITH them for 3 days...

but seriously, it's good to make new friends..

but the bad thing is,
i need to go to NIE, which is in a very far place called clementi, for 3 days for rehearsal...

I hv almst recovered from my emotional breakdown & now?!

Attended bb training today, guess wat?! I broke my leg again!!!!!WTF!
Y always like tat?!

TODAY is THE START OF HELL TRAINING!! When i reached sch teacher started scolding e guys for not attending regular training den chased off some of them...So the gals were like getting scolded for no reasons lo...Den After her ''nagging'' she asked e guys to do warm up & run 10 rounds outer lane...
We tot gals only nid to do e usual warm up of 3 rds BUT she shouted:'' GO do ur warm up & ur 10 rds!''
Den i was like er....''Am i goin to break my own personal record of 10 rds in lane 8?''
Wow i actually completed my 10 rds without stopping sia!(*man rite!)LOL...Somemore we were quite on the same pace as e guys..
Den a series of intensive training lo...So crazy la... Running ard the court like mad dogs.. LOL..
Guess my knee cannot take too much pressure ba den gives way again lo...Somemore didnt hv enuf rest for e past few days so it's like double the pressure... haiz....
I wanted to hide it from my parents cuz they got enuf things to worry abt alrdy, BUT.....( *I didnt mean to add on to their burden of worries)

i'm crying again. OH MAN!

first i read lala's email on "i will hug you till i'm old" or something like that. then i was crying la. LIKE REALLY CRYING BADLY. so sad. when i read that the wife was growing thinner, i thought she'd die. scare me. luckily she didn't. it's a happy ending after all. YAY! but my tears keep falling. stupid dew... *it's a pun! haha. ah gui. get it? how it's a pun?*

then later i read that email "do you love someone this much?" from chacha. although i've received that email like 3-4 or even more times. i still teared. most probably because i'm still feeling sad by the previous email. but you know, i'm totally emotional. my tears are like freeflow.

man. stupid guy. i know he loves her. but if i'm that girl. how'd i feel? he died for ME. would i even be able to love another?

sigh* such tragedies.

oh oh. today should be a happy day since our chinese 'A's has been completed. oh oh. both my no.1 and no.5 are in the *ahem* camp. hahaha.
